Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day, Trav! We are going on your FOURTH year of being a Dad, and we’ve learned so much together along the way. I remember our first nights home with Arnie and how exhausted we were. We were completely new to life with a baby, and we had so many questions and things to figure out. Fast forward to our second baby, Amara, and it’s like we are seasoned pros (mostly). Our children are so beautiful, and they are such a wonderful mix of me and you. We have created two incredibly beautiful babies. Arnie is so full of life — he is fun and funny, and his smile melts my heart. You are his best buddy. There’s nothing more that he loves than playing with you (well, except maybe playing with Lola). And Amara is loving you more and more each day, and she shows it with her smile and her sweet laugh.

Thank you for creating this life with me. Thank you for being present. Thank you for loving us deeply. And thank you for always making us laugh. I pray we continue to strengthen our family throughout the years, providing each other and our children with tremendous love and support. Let’s continue to pour love into one another so that we can pour that back into the kids. It’s going to be an interesting journey further along into their childhood and adulthood.
